Had an opportunity to lead a prayer meeting at a local chapel yesterday evening and then went for a drink with a couple of leaders afterwards which was nice.

This morning woke up feeling a little hungry at 6am so headed for breakfast at 7am.. Full English plus 4 weetabix. Headed back to my room to pack up and was on the road just before 9a.m.
Knowing holyhead was 15 miles away i knew i had time to visit a few places so I headed towards Rhosniger then onto four mile bridge and felt to go visit Rhoscolyn Beacon. I wasn’t disappointed. It was glorious. See below.

I then headed onto Trearddur bay for lunch and a shandy to celebrate.
With five miles to go and some time before my train from Holyhead I headed to Porthdafach beach (a place I used to coach sea kayaking) enroute i saw a farmer feeding his cows so stopped to have a chat with him. He opened up about his past struggles and i got to pray with him.

After chatting for a while, i contiinued to the beach and then onto Holyhead and found the marker for completing the coast to coast on the Quay at Holyhead Harbour. (Althoigh not my objective) I felt quite emotional when I arrived at Holyhead which id not felt at Lands End.

Really pleased to have finished and just need to keep stretching prior to going to Ireland June 3rd.
Thanks for following along. Keep checking back for updates.

Well done, Jim and many blessings as you prepare for Ireland. We’ve just returned from a weekend in Ffald y Brenin – which was amazing and I’ve never seen Wales looking so beautiful and sunny!
