Wales Day 4 Bala to Llanberis (Day 35)

My campsite last night

After having a time of prayer and then clearing some phone calls I got underway at 9am. Heading North up towards Penterolas and the A5.

En route had a great chat with a farmer with 2000 acres and 2400 lambs just those year !  Got to chat about government decisions and where he saw things going. I then got to pray for him and the future of the farm and his family.

Such beautiful views.. (click on photos to expand)

Excuse the blurry finger.. I then came across this telegraph pole that an oak tree had chosen to plant in.. this spoke to me about the way we often make our plans but The Lord knows and amd will use anything as he desires.

Some more beautiful river scenery

Had opportunity to meet Phil B. A friend from 20 years had been an inspiration when I started off in the outdoors.

Once left Phil I then headed down to Betws Y Coed via Miners Bridge. Crossed the river and the  n headed up past swallow falls.

Today feeling led to pray  1. Yes, thank God for his creation but 2. Praying for outdoor people and an end to ego and any performance orientation. That they would find Jesus and receive peace.

I passed Plas Y Brenin and saw the Snowdon horse shoe from a distance. Was beautiful!

I then took a right at the famous Pen Y Gurrud and started the 3km climb up into the Llamberis Pass. So lovely… I’d been  wanting to ride this for years so felt especially blessed.. 65km/h on the way down.. very nice !

Then Met Mark in Llanberis to be taken to my accommodation. Tomorrow ill start in the same spot i left today.

Thanks for reading and praying along.

Tomorrow..  Anglesey Jim
